Laguna Woods is a city in southern Orange County, California, located in the Saddleback Valley roughly ten miles inland from the Pacific coastline. The city was incorporated in 1999 around one of the region's most distinctive communities: Laguna Woods Village, a gated, age-restricted enclave for residents 55 and older.
